Respect Vs. Reverence: The True Path Forward to a Better America

As the year comes to a close and we all prepare to add a new year to our belts, I have been doing some thinking about ideas I grew up and came to either embrace or disregard. For example, my mother is from Los Angeles so annually we used to leave the wintry, cold environs of the DC area to visit our grandmother in Southern California.
